Very Tough Call This One. You Decide!
by Alex King
Raytheon ($RTX) stock has been only-up since October 2023. I think the name is due a pullback technically; and personally I think the leverage is getting a little punchy. We continue to rate at Hold, because defense stocks are on the up and can drag RTX with them, but speaking for myself, a relatively risk-averse investor, if I still owned RTX (I sold before earnings, a little early as it turned out) I would sell it, with both the stock chart and the balance sheet in mind. This is likely too cautious a view, so if you own RTX or are thinking of doing so, I would suggest you take a look at this note and think about risk/reward in the stock over the timeframe of your choosing.
