A lot of speculative activity in Intel stock in recent days has helped to support the Philadelphia SOX index and associated ETFs - your $SMH, $SOXX, $SOXL and whatnot. Indices are doing nothing much. The Vix is subdued. Yawn. (*)

(*) Time to wake up. Markets in yawn mode usually means a material move is on foot. The direction of which requires other analysis. My point is merely that as in life, when all around you seems quiet, it probably means someone somewhere is up to something and has other ideas involving rugs being pulled.
