Not To Be Trusted. Yet.

by Alex King

So far, so green, after last week’s dumpage. Do you trust it for a simple run back to new all time highs? Or do you think a more complex path, likely including a rug pull or two along the way, is more likely? Naturally I favor the latter as the more probably route to investing salvation. A little pain along the way to test the faith.

This week - today, no less - tech earnings season gets rolling for real. Thus far we have seen TSMC report good numbers and the stock get dunked, NFLX report great numbers and the stock get dunked … you see a pattern here? The question is, with tech having sold off into earnings, what will the reaction be?

For those of you here who are members of our Inner Circle or Market Insight paying services, you’ll be receiving our earnings notes each day on or after the print. So you can watch each stock, its fundamentals and the reaction, and its impact on the wider market, in real time.

For now, let’s get into the detail on the market charts. Below we walk through our daily take on all four major US equity indices, plus treasury bonds, oil, volatility (via the Vix) and sector ETFs.
