ATH Once More?

Well, since the whole DeepScam episode appears behind us, it may be that all-time-highs in the equity indices are on deck once more. This last week has been one of the more entertaining plays in the market - we wrote this one up in some detail here:
Nvidia vs. DeepSeek vs. Market Shenanigans
Earnings season is gathering pace; Apple, Tesla, Microsoft, Meta Platforms and others have now reported and thus far the market has been fairly forgiving of not-so-hot numbers. This is a bullish look in the near term although it portends ill for the economy in the longer term in my view; Meta is guiding to weaker growth, Apple revenue growth was anemic, and so on and so forth. That’s not today’s problem but it may underly problems that arise in the future.
For now let’s look at how equities, bonds, oil and volatility are shaping up heading into the weekend.
